Stay overnight in one of our two guest cabins overlooking  Lake Shawn and the Captina Creek which wraps around the property.  Each cabin can sleep up to five to seven guests. Cabin rental is not available unless you are also booking a hunting or fishing package.  The smaller cabin has one bedroom, a bunk room, one bathroom and a main living room with sleeper sofa and fully equipped kitchen.  The kitchen has a full size refrigerator, stove, oven, all cookware and utensils.  The living room has a gas log fireplace for the winter months and a television with Direct TV.  Clean linens and towels are provided as is a charcoal grill and camp fire ring.  The larger cabin has two bedrooms and a wood burning stove.  Both of our cabins have recently been remodeled and offer all of the amenities of home.  Upon request a wood fired hot tub is  available to our overnight guests.
 
 

Local area attractions include Barkcamp State Park located approximately 15 miles northwest  for overnight camping, swimming, boating and hiking . 

For the golfer, two golf courses are also located less than 5 minutes from our property. (Horseshoe Bend and Clair Mar golf courses)

For the gambler,  Wheeling Island Racetrack and Gaming Center is just around the corner.

For the outdoorsman, Cabela's in Wheeling is a must stop for tackle and shopping.

The Moundsville  WV State Penitentiary Tour also makes an interesting day trip as does Moundsville's Palace of Gold Tour

The nearby Dickenson Cattle Company also offers a worthwhile free tour of their 42 square mile Texas longhorn cattle ranch.
