Lake Shawn Cleveland Plain Dealer Article May 10, 2008   Lake Shawn reviewed in West Virginia Sportsman Magazine June 2007   Read about Lake Shawn in Country Living Magazine   Read this article by Fisherman Steve Felosa of Hunt N' Biz   Anglers fishing Lake Shawn may catch small and largemouth bass, crappie, bluegill, perch, catfish, trout, and large hybrid striped bass.  All fishing is catch and release.  Below are a few pictures of the fish that have been caught in Lake Shawn.  Pictured at top left is Ray Brubaker, the man who built Lake Shawn with his bare hands and made it the great place it is today. We do not allow fishing from boats after dark but you can fish for large channel catfish from the shore while enjoying a campfire, the stars and lots of howling coyotes.
