Lake
Shawn actually consists of two separate sections - totaling
about 30 acres of water - and four smaller rearing ponds.
The rearing ponds are reserved for finger-length and smaller
fish which are grown to adulthood, then netted and moved
to the bigger lakes. Situated on over 108 acres of
property in the Appalachian foothills, Lake Shawn is adjacent to State Route 148 six miles
west of Powhatan Point, Ohio. A virtual wall of trees
masks its splendor from the passersby. The only way to reach the
lake is to cross our private bridge which spans Captina Creek.
